The uninvited blackheads, whiteheads, bumps and nodules - how to deal with it?

Are you dealing with blackheads, whiteheads, bumps, nodules, or cysts mostly on your face, maybe on your neck, chest, shoulders, and upper back? This is a common skin issue that affects sebaceous glands and hair follicles.

Possible reasons include hormonal changes, stress, imbalanced gut bacteria, constipation, poor liver function, a diet high in trans and hydrogenated fats, and deficiencies in minerals, vitamins, and essential fatty acids.

While you try to find the root cause, consider this:

  • Drink plenty of pure water, filtered or spring water
  • Avoid alcohol, coffee, tea, fizzy drinks, artificial sweeteners, refined sugar, processed, fried and dairy foods.
  • Eat fatty fish regularly - salmon, mackerel, sardines. Preferably wild. Fresh fruit & veg daily. Choose organic to avoid hormone disruptors. Apples can bind toxins, garlic and onions are great detoxifiers, sea vegetables - rich in minerals etc.
  • Avoid antibiotics.
  • Avoid smoking.
  • Consider bowel an liver detoxification - work with a professional on a plan for you.
  • Consider Vitamin B Complex, Zinc picolinate, L-Glutamine, Essential fatty acids and Probiotics. Talk to a healthcare provider about the correct dosage for you.
  • Find stress management and relaxation techniques that suit your personality.
