Fire Cider is helpful when reducing coffee intake, offering an energy boost and aiding metabolism. When used appropriately, it is generally safe with minimal side effects. However, it may irritate mucus membranes, so caution is advised if there are stomach ulcers or inflammation. It is not suitable for children under 4, pregnant women, or those on blood thinners due to potential interactions.

How to make Fire Cider

Fire cider can be made in various ways. Here’s a recipe using maceration:

Ingredients

  • 250g Fresh Horseradish
  • 200g Fresh Onion
  • 200g Fresh Garlic
  • 150g Fresh Chili Pepper
  • 1000ml Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

Method

  1. Wash and peel all hard ingredients. Weigh them separately, then crush or slice and blend into a coarse paste.
  2. Place the paste in a glass jar.
  3. Measure and pour the apple cider vinegar over the paste.
  4. Seal the jar tightly, label it with the date and names of the ingredients. Store in a dark place.
  5. Shake the mixture daily for 3 weeks, then let it sit for an additional 3 weeks at room temperature in a dark place.
  6. After 6 weeks, press the mixture thoroughly and let it sit in a jar overnight to settle.
  7. The next day, pour through a filter to separate the sediment.
  8. Transfer the clear liquid into a glass bottle, label it with the name and date, and store away from sunlight at room temperature. It lasts about 6 months; longer if refrigerated.

Dosage suggestions: Take a teaspoon three times a day with a little water. If you have acute respiratory symptoms, you can increase the amount or how often you take it.
